The HeavyHundred
On December 18 I'm covering 100 miles in a weighted plate carrier around Lady Bird Lake to raise $100,000 for Mission 22 and the fight against veteran suicide. Every donation enters you to win the kit I train in, and bigger gifts earn more entries. You can also enter for free.
No purchase or donation necessary to enter or win. A donation will not improve your chances of winning compared to a free entry. Open to legal U.S. residents 18+. Void where prohibited. Official Rules.
What you can win
Each drawing has one winner, and each winner takes home the full kit. These are the same brands I train in and carry every mile.
Donate. You're in.
Every donation on the Mission 22 campaign page is entered automatically using the email you give at checkout. There's no form and no receipt to upload, and bigger gifts earn more entries per dollar.
Choose your amount on the Mission 22 page. Entries are counted per donation.
Donate once. That's it.
- Donate any amount of $10 or more on the official Mission 22 campaign page.
- Your donation is matched to your checkout email from Mission 22's records, and your entries are added at the next sync.
- Check your entries any time with the lookup below.
Free entry
Free entry is always open while a giveaway runs. It has the same odds per entry as a donation, and you don't need to follow, share or buy anything.
Use the free entryCheck your entries
Enter the email you used on the Mission 22 page or the free entry form.
No donation necessary
One free entry per person for each giveaway.
No one should fight alone
Mission 22 offers no-cost programs for veterans, spouses and families, with support nationwide, wherever and whenever it's needed. Their work helps veterans and families recover, reconnect and rebuild.
Every dollar from this giveaway goes through Mission 22's own donation page. I never touch the money, and the brands donated every prize.
Donate to Mission 22FAQ
Do I have to donate to win?
No. Each person gets one free entry per giveaway, worth the same as a $10 donation, and every entry has the same chance of being drawn however it was earned. Donations simply earn more entries.
Do I need to send you my receipt?
No. Mission 22 shares its donor records for this campaign with me only to run the giveaway, and donations are matched to the email used at checkout. Entries usually show up within a week. Use the lookup to check.
Where does my donation go?
Straight to Mission 22 through their official campaign page. I don't collect or hold any donations. Mission 22 sends your receipt, so check with your tax advisor about whether your gift is deductible.
Does my donation count for both giveaways?
Each donation counts toward one drawing. Everything given to the campaign through Nov 22, including donations made before the giveaway was announced, counts toward Giveaway 01. Donations from Nov 23 through Dec 17 count toward Giveaway 02.
I donated under a different email, or anonymously.
Anonymous donations are still entered under the checkout email, and your name stays private. If you used an email you don't check, email dylan@trsdl.com and I'll match it up.
Can I opt out of the giveaway?
Yes. Email dylan@trsdl.com and your donation won't be entered. It still goes to Mission 22 either way.
How is the winner picked?
A random draw from every verified entry, using a cryptographically secure random number generator. Each entry is one ticket. Giveaway 01 is drawn on Nov 24, and Giveaway 02 is drawn live during the Heavy Hundred on Dec 18.
How will I know if I won?
I'll email you from the address in the Official Rules, and I may also DM you from my Instagram account. You'll have 5 days to reply. I will never ask you for payment, a card number or a shipping fee. Anyone who does is an impersonator, so please report them.
Who can enter?
Legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and D.C. who are 18 or older. Employees of Mission 22, GORUCK, Montana Knife Company and Barbell Apparel, and members of my household, can't win.
Do Instagram comments count as entries?
No. Commenting the keyword just sends you the link to this page. Entries come only from donations on the Mission 22 page or the free entry form.
